Volunteers

If you enjoy the outdoors, enjoy working with horses, children and adults, are at least 14 years old, and can commit at least one hour a week, Heartland needs you!

Heartland has more than 120 volunteers each week to help with our Monday through Thursdays, both daytime and evening hours programs. They work as side-walkers, leaders, and attendants in the classes. They also work in the barn, grooming horses and helping tack them for classes. Our volunteers include high school students, college students, working professionals, and retired people.

Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing - jeans or jogging attire work well. Closed-toe shoes or boots are essential at all times. Please avoid dangling jewelry or large hats.
